For daily basics, the SPAR in Tamariu is a short walk or a 5 minute drive away — great for bread, coffee, fresh produce and anything you forgot to pack.

For a bigger shop, head into Palafrugell (about 10 minutes by car). You'll find larger supermarkets like Mercadona and Lidl, plus a lovely daily market with local fruit, cheese, olives and fresh fish.

Tuesday and Sunday mornings are market days in Palafrugell and Palamós — worth planning around if you want the freshest catch or seasonal produce. Bring a tote bag and small cash for the stalls.

Tip: shops often close between 2pm and 5pm for the midday break, and many are shut on Sundays outside of market mornings.
